The pies are excellent and a trip down memory lane. Easy to prepare, put them in a hot oven from the freezer and 20 min later you have an amazing golden brown pie.

We have just ordered and started to scoff Billy’s Australian meat pies. They are the real thing and should be exported to Australia, where meat pie production has by and large fallen into the wrong hands. Billy understands that an Australian meat pie is made with minced meat and contains a generous amount of gravy, topped with a flakey pastry lid. Many years ago when I was a young youth, Australia used to be home to something called Sargent’s meat pies. No other pie could compete with Sargent’s. Billy now does.

Wellicht handig om er bij te vermelden dat er varkensvlees in zit. Normaliter worden ze enkel met rundvlees gemaakt. Desalniettemin zijn ze wel echt lekker.
