Sourced exclusively from our Gippsland vineyard, this sophisticated and multidimensional wine shows good rich fruit characters of apple and melon, highlighted by a malolactic ferment and 12 months ageing in new and one year old French oak barriques. Tight, flinty with cedary spicy and savoury highlights and an excellent purity. Cool climate acid results in a beautifully textured, creamy, nutty, balanced character. Fruit richness is carried hrough on the palate to produce a wonderful finish. It is anticipated the wine will improve for 3 to 5 years in the bottle to reach maximum potential and then age gracefully under the Stelvin cap. Drink with creamy seafood dishes
